Fintech: Top 30 Leading Women In Nigerias Financial Technology Industry

Adedoyin Odunfa| CEO, Digital Jewels, Nigeria. </b><br><img class=img src="https://www.financialtechnologyafrica.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Adedoyin-Odunfa-300x230.jpg"></img><br><br>Adedoyin is the CEO of Digital Jewels, an IS027001-certified Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (PCIDSS QSA) providing IT and project management consulting and capacity building services. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), an ISO27001 lead auditor and a Project Management Professional (PMP).<br><br>As an IT professional, Adedoyin has over 20 years experience in professional practice, focused on enhancing the strategic value of IT in organisations through value-adding interventions across the information value chain. Her experience spans 20 years of active consulting, business development and management and specialized areas of IT such as IT governance, project management, e-business and capacity development interventions.<br><br>Adedoyin is certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and a SFIA Accredited Consultant. She holds a B.Sc. (combined honours) in Computer Science and Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University and an MBA (Information Technology and Management) from the City University Business School (now CASS Business School) in the UK. Adedoyins leadership of Digital Jewels brings to bear the wealth of her experience in the corporate world, classroom, war-room and boardroom<br><br><b>2. Adia Sowho | Vice President Growth, Migo</b><br><img class=img src="https://www.financialtechnologyafrica.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Adia-Sowho-300x300.jpg"></img><br><br>Adia is the Vice President Growth, Migo, a machine learning-powered digital credit platform. Before Migo, Adia was the director of digital business at 9mobile where she collaborated with startups to deliver mobile contents. Adia has been a media and tech business leader with over 15 years of leading strategic business transformations with a focus on delivering enduring results.<br><br>Adia is an emerging markets business leader that has developed new and still thriving organizational structures occupied by high-performance teams. Adia led business transformation across multiple units and developed high performing, cross-functional, strategy deployment and change management teams without formal authority over them.<br><br>As the Vice Chair of the EMEA Board at Mobile Ecosystem Forum [MEF], Adia is active on the Africa steering committee where she brings her experience and passion for the region to facilitate opportunities for mobile VAS providers across a complex continent.<br><br><b>3. Aishah Ahmad | Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria</b><br><img class=img src="https://www.financialtechnologyafrica.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Aisha-Hamed-300x188.jpg"></img><br><br>Aishah Ahmad is the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). She is in charge of Financial System Stability. She is responsible for leading the effort to promote a sound financial system in Nigeria. This is one of the principal objects of the apex bank as specified in the CBN Act. Aishah is a member of the Governing Board and Committee of Governors at the CBN and Chairman, Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC), a not-for-profit organisation offering training, consulting and research services for the financial services sector.<br><br>Aishah is the Chairman of Board of Director of the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc (NIBSS). Before her present role, Aishah was executive director, retail banking at Diamond Bank. She has over 22 years experience as a corporate executive and finance expert. Aishah had worked with NAL Bank, Zenith Bank and Stanbic IBTC Bank (a member of Standard Bank Group, SA) etc. Aishahs passion for finance fueled the attainment of several academic and professional qualifications over the years.<br><br>Aisha is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Association and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association. She holds an M.Sc. in Finance and Management from the Cranfield School of Management, UK, and an MBA (Finance) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She obtained her B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Abuja, Nigeria.<br><br><b>4. Aituaz Kola-Oladejo | Executive Director, Financial Service Innovators (FSI)</b><br><img class=img src="https://www.financialtechnologyafrica.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Aituaz-Kola-Oladejo-300x150.jpg"></img><br><br>Aituaz joined the FSI from Nigeria Inter Bank Settlement System Plc [NIBSS] where she served as the pioneer head of institutional research and development department. She led NIBSS innovation management, training and strategy for four years.<br><br>At NIBSS she helped to support an inclusive ecosystem of developers, startup entrepreneurs and established fintech industry players to deliver a rich portfolio of innovative technology applications and services. Aituaz had an illustrious decade long career in banking. She worked at United Bank for Africa (UBA) and Citizens International Bank (CIB).
