Here's the technology news you need to know this Thursday morning.1.Samsung will announce the Galaxy S9 on February 25 at the Mobile World Congress technology conference in Barcelona.Earlier leaks indicate that the S9 might be very similar to the S8, in terms of both design and specifications, apart from some new features for the camera.2.Evan Spiegel lost a key lieutenant as Snapchat's VP of product is leaving tech altogether.Tom Conrad said thathe plans to leave the tech industry entirely to focus on "music, food, photography" and art.3. Prime Minister Theresa May will single out messaging app Telegram in a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos today and call it a "home to criminals and terrorists." May's speech in Davos will criticise several technology companies.4.Qualcomm's share price slipped after it was fined by the EU. Shares fell 1.68% following its 997 million (867 million, $1.2 billion) fine.5.Google hid the date of its next developer conference inside an online game. This year's Google I/O event will run from May 8 to May 10.6. Logan Paul returned to YouTube with a documentary on suicide survivors. Paul pledged to donate $1 million (700,000) to suicide prevention organisations.7.Shazam investor DN Capital has raised 200 million (174 million, $248 million) for its new fund. The fund will target early stage startups in the UK, Western Europe, and the US.8. Nintendo will shut down its Miitomo social network app on May 9. The app only launched in March 2016.9.Apple said that 500 million customers use Siri. The last update it gave was 375 million customers in June.10.
