Arsene Wenger Has 'Zero' Chance of PSG Move from Arsenal, Says Patrick Kluivert

Published by Bleacher Report on Thu, 06 Apr 2017

Reports linking Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger with a potential move to Paris Saint-Germain in the near future are "false" and there is "a zero per cent chance" the Frenchman will end up at the Parc des Princes, according to PSGdirector of football Patrick Kluivert. The former Netherlands international rubbished the rumours after Unai Emery's side beatAvranches 4-0 to reach the last four of theCoupe de France on Wednesday, perFrance 3 television (via ESPN FC's Jonathan Johnson): "Wenger at PSG' This is false. Not true. There is a zero per cent chance that this will happen."Wenger has been under huge pressure recently after Arsenal's recent poor form, which has seen them drop out of the Premier League's top four and lose 10-2 on aggregate to Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League. The 67-year-old's current contract expires in the summer, and he has yet to announce whether he will stay on further. The Sun'sWarren Haughtonrecently reported PSG were set to give him an "escape route" by offering Wenger a three-year deal to succeed Emery, who was only appointed last summer.Kluivert has vehemently rejected the idea, and the issue is likely moot anyway as it is looking increasingly likely Wenger will stay on at Arsenal, perJames McNicholason Unibet:Arsenal looked to be returning to some kind of form on Wednesday when they beat West Ham United 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium.Though Champions League qualification is looking increasingly unlikely for next season, Wenger has earned the right to decide upon his own future and will likely relish the chance to prove doubters wrong in 2017-18.For more news, rumours and related stories about Arsenal and the Premier League, check out the Premier Leagueand Arsenalstreams onBleacher Report's app.
