Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns Reportedly Likely for WrestleMania 33 Main Event

According to a new report, WWE is planning for The Undertaker versus Roman Reigns to main event Sunday's WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida.Per Dave Meltzer of theWrestling Observer Newsletter(h/t Sean Rueter of CagesideSeats.com), The Deadman against The Big Dog is the "very probable, if not for sure main event."Meltzer did add the caveat that WWE's regular changing of plans could lead to another match headlining.It has long been suspected that the Universal Championship match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar would go on last due to the star power involved.Since that bout figures to be no longer than a few minutes, it is possible that WWE's decision-makers had second thoughts.Also, WWE has heralded the WWE Championship match between Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton as the main event. That often means little when it comes to WrestleMania since multiple matches are considered "main events" on a yearly basis.An Undertaker versus Reigns main event makes sense since the crowd will likely be hugely invested in terms of cheering for The Phenom and booing Reigns.There are also several storylines in play, such as it possibly being The Undertaker's final match or Reigns potentially turning heel.This is arguably the most unpredictable match on the card should it be confirmed, and if executed correctly, it could end WrestleMania on a high note.Listen toRing Rust Radiofor all of the hot wrestling topics.
