Clifton Miheso Says Golden Arrows Deal Terminated at Gunpoint in FIFA Complaint

Clifton Miheso has submitted a complaint to FIFA after allegedly being held at gunpoint at the offices of South African team Golden Arrows and made to terminate his contract with the club.Per BBC Sport, the alleged incidentwhich Golden Arrows denyoccurred on January 14, and the Kenyan international is seeking $22,000 he says he is owed in unpaid wages as well as sanctions for the club, possibly including a transfer embargo.Per Goal, the incident is said to have taken place at theMoses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, in theclub's offices.World Players' Union FIFPro shared news of the complaint on social media:They confirmed in a statement: "[Mihesos] lawyer has filed a complaint to FIFA after the footballer was pressured by two men carrying guns to terminate his contract with South African club Golden Arrows.The armed men arrived in the clubs offices where he was meeting with the chief executive and pressured him into signing a document rescinding his contract."Miheso's lawyer has said the club has not provided "any satisfactory information about the incident," per Goal.
