The last WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania 33 left a few loose threads hanging in the Richmond, Virginia, air.A lack of clarity still surrounds theSmackDown Women's Championship match set for Sunday's pay-per-view. We now know The Usos aren't defending the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, but will they be major players in the bout WWE did assign them'And as forShane McMahon, uncertainty looms regarding what he will be able to do without the assistance of a stipulation for his match with AJ Styles. It seemed certain McMahon and Styles would battle in a cage match or some brawl-heavy bout with minimal rules. Nope. A good old fashioned wrestling match is on the docket, leaving the audience wondering how that will turn out. From whether Alexa Bliss will have any unannounced foes to McMahon's chances for success, the following are the biggest questions to emerge from Tuesdays' SmackDown. Will the Women's Title Match Feature Surprise Guests'What appeared to be an open-ended match a few weeks ago has solidified into something more standard.More and more, it looks like Bliss will defend her title in a six-woman match. When SmackDown general manager Daniel Bryan first announce the bout, he made it seem like the format was up in the air, as was the field.Would someone unexpected show up, from Kelly Kelly to Eva Marie'The tone of the hype has changed, focusing on the women already on TV. And on Tuesday, Naomi returned to action. She announced that she's healthy and set to compete for the women's title at WrestleMania. With that return out of the way, can we expect any more at The Show of Shows'That doesn't look likely anymore. The match preview on WWE.com states: "WWE's Wicked Witch will face Becky Lynch, Natalya, Mickie James, Carmella and, now, Naomi." There is no mention of others charging onto the battlefield, as well. What on Earth is WWE Doing with Breeze'Breeze is either undergoing a transformation or toying with a temporary departure from his character. For the second straight week, Prince Pretty dressed up like Nikki Bella. He tried to convince Bryan to let him into the SmackDown women's match. Is this latest appearance of Breezy Bella a sign of things to come' Does WWE have a long-term plan for the former NXT standout, Bella-inspired or otherwise'It's surprising how little WWE has used him since the brand split. And it's been odd to see him cosplay for two weeks.Count the WrestleView.com Twitter account among those who didn't see this coming:Breeze will probably move on from the Bella thing post-WrestleMania. It has too limited a shelf life to go on any longer. Whether he reverts back to his fashion-cop shtick or sees his character evolve, The Gorgeous One has to be a bigger part of the SmackDown puzzle. Will Tag Teams Get Lost in the Shuffle in the Battle Royal'The Usos won't be defending the SmackDown tag team titles against American Alpha or anyone else. The champs are headed to the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.SmackDown's announcers noted that The Usos, American Alpha, Breezango, Health Slater and Rhyno will all be a part of the annual bout. Will the blue brand's top squads play a significant role in the Battle Royal' Will they get tossed aside in little time by the likes of Big Show and Braun Strowman'Sami Zayn promises to be one of the match's biggest stars. WWE has heavily teased a Big Show-Strowman collision. Add a few surprise entrants here and there, and there won't be any room for The Usos and their enemies.Fans may be upset that the SmackDown women's division is being pushed to the pre-show, but at least they are getting their own match. The brand's tag teams are likely to be pushovers in a showcase for someone else. How Will McMahon Fare in a Standard Match'Styles is going to have his work cut out for him at WrestleMania. If he wants to produce a special match at the event, he will not only have to do so against the limited Shane O'Macbut within the confines of a standard match. And that's simply not McMahon's specialty. The SmackDown commissioner has made his name on Street Fights and other bouts where bigger stunts are the norm. But WWE has decided to go in a different direction this time.Styles mentioned during his contract signing with McMahon that there would be no ladders or toys to incorporate into their battle. Normal rules will apply instead. That's a surprise considering what McMahon is all about.McMahon may be able to get in a big elbow dive or table spotbut won't have a full array of options for memorable stunts. Without that in his arsenal, he'll struggle to tell the story in the ring.It will be up to The Phenomenal One to carry the load in that contest.
