Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is reportedly still keen to sign Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata, who is said to have nearly made the decision to leave his current club in the summer. Meanwhile, AS Roma's Kostas Manolas has advised team-mate Radja Nainggolan to join the Blues.According to Tomas Roncero of daily AS, Conte has told Roman Abramovich of his desire to add Morata, and the Premier League leaders are willing to offer roughly 51 million for the Spain international.Conte wanted to sign Morata when he was in charge of Juventus back in 2014, and the striker eventually arrived in Turin after he took the job with the Italian national team. Per Roncero, his desire to work with Morata hasn't changed, and the player now realises he'll never usurp Karim Benzema as the starter at Madrid and is therefore willing to leave the club once again.Roncero also suggested Real are looking into signing AS Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe, which would move Morata further back in the pecking order. The former Juventus man has arguably been Real's best striker this season, but Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane doesn't seem to rate the 24-year-old.Here's a look at some of his highlights:While the reported fee of 51 million seems excessive for a striker who isn't exactly known for scoring goals, Morata's work rate is something that will appeal to Conte. In many ways, he's similar to Mirko Vucinic, who was a favourite of the tactician when the two worked together in Italy.Like Vucinic, Morata creates space for team-mates with his running while retaining the ability to play with his back to goal. With Morata on the pitch, other players benefitlike Carlos Tevez did at Juventus.More than 50 million still seems an absurd fee, however, and if a move does come to pass, expect the two parties to come to a more realistic compromise.Elsewhere, Greece international Manolas gave an interview to Mediaset Premium (h/t Football Italia) in which he spoke about the future of Nainggolan, who has been linked with the Blues. When asked about what the Belgium international should do, he didn't mince his words:Nainggolan doesnt like the rain, but he is among the best midfielders in the world and has to get accustomed to that too if he wants to play in the best teams. He can do it, because hes a phenomenon.Lets be honest, were not up to the standard of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. He alluded to comments Nainggolan made earlier this week when asked about Chelsea, via ItalianFootballTV:Nainggolan is in the middle of another fantastic season with Romahis best one yetand Chelsea's upturn in form compared to last season has reignited some of the speculation. Where the 28-year-old seemed very unwilling to move to west London last year, he's dropped more hints he could be persuaded this season. Here's a look at some of his highlights:The improved form of Nemanja Matic means Chelsea have less of a need for another central midfielder, but Nainggolan has played in a more advanced position this season, and he's been even more effective in this new role.He remains a favourite of Conte, who could pounce and launch a major offer if Nainggolan confirms he's open to the move.
