The huge price rise for these 8 key items show the cost of living is out of control

Wages are not rising fast enough to keep up with the cost of living.This is according to the data crunched by payday lender Money Shop which shows the percentage growthacross essential household items, such as bread, eggs, petrol, compared to the rate of wage growth over the last 20 years.The average wage in Britain has only grown from16,500 in 1997, to 28,000 in 2017.
