Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has agreed a long-expected deal to join Major League Soccer franchise Chicago Fire that could see him move to the United States as early as next week. Schweinsteiger, who has been relegated to a backup role at Old Trafford by Jose Mourinho this season, remains under contract at United until 2018.
