Luke Walton Says Bucks Staffer Touched Lakers Player During On-Court Altercation

Head coach Luke Walton had a few problems with the way officials handled the scuffle between the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.He especially took issue with someone on the Bucks staff pushing Brandon Ingram."Watching the tape," Walton explained, per Baxter Holmes and Jovan Buha of ESPN.com. "One of their employees is on the floor, and he grabs Brandon by the jersey and shoves himnot holding him back, shoves himand that doesn't get addressed either' If there's nothing wrong with that, then I have no problem finding some people to hire on our staff."The situation started at the end of the third quarter when Milwaukee's Malcolm Brogdon used a hard foul to stop Lakers guard Nick Young from getting a layup. Young took exception and pushed Brogdon, which was followed by shoves from Greg Monroe and then D'Angelo Russell before more players entered the scene.Young, Russell and Monroe were all ejected.Walton disagreed with the punishments in the eventual 107-103 loss. He felt Monroe was the most to blame, saying he had "grabbed Nick by the neck and thrown him."A bigger concern could be the staffer who got involved."He works for them. He can touch their players all he wants," Walton said. "Don't touch my damn players, because if that's OK, I'm sure we can find a couple people here in L.A. that want that job working for the Lakers, too. That's not right."The NBA has not yet announced any additional punishment.
