Police Arrest 3 Kidnappers, Robbery Suspects

The police have arrested a gang of three kidnappers for ransom and armed robbery suspects with weapons and live ammunitions.According to a statement by the force public relations officer, CSP Jimoh Moshood, the suspects were arrested in Zaria Kaduna state by the IGP intelligence response team in collaboration with technical intelligence unit on March 15, 2017.The suspects include Nuhu Fulani, Yahaya Muhammed and Aisha Bature He further stated that one AK 47 rifle, one locally made pistol and 30 rounds of live ammunitions in addition to charms and a Samsung S6 phone belonging to their last victim was recovered from them The statement added that the suspects have been on the wanted list of the Nigeria Police for some time.He explained that the AK 47 rifle fully loaded with ammunition was found in a toilet in Aisha Batures house.He further disclosed that the three suspects have confessed to various crime roles and will be arraigned in court upon completion of investigations, adding that efforts are ongoing to arrest the other members of the gang still at large.
