First Gospel Reality TV Show Underway

The first gospel reality television show in African, Worship With Volla is set to commence. The show is a brain child of a sensational gospel artist, Kelvin Idohosa (aka Volla), who has featured on hit singles and album projects alongside famous gospel artistes in Nigeria.The show which would feature 30 minutes of intense worship in music, acoustic performances and other relative acts, aiming to create a platform for self expression amongst gospel artistes is scheduled to commence with a pilot scheme March 5, 2017.According to organisers, the show is inspired by the burning desire to encourage the culture of pure worship and it would not only inspire souls but also encourage worship ministers as they would finally own an avenue where their anointing would be better projected and appreciated by the world.Briefing newsmen ahead of the event, the leading gospel artist, Mr Kelvin Idahosa, said the first gospel reality television show with an exciting and clear cut concept projected to be engaging for all ages from social media to traditional media, intends to leave a message with each segment that would encapsulate the essence of worship.As a project which we believe would grow into a major sensation in the nearest future, we hope to host and give exclusive feature to a very talented gospel artiste every week on the show. The show would also showcase behind the scenes planning, rehearsals and all other aspects that would make it real, with the high points being the performance of the major song for the day.Our goal is to expose our audience and young people even more to worship music both as an art and as a source of inspiration. Our aim being to create a new breed of worshippers who are unashamed of the gospel and with our engaging series through which we exhibit various ways to worship God in spirit and in truth while projecting a broad variety of real life situation.We hope to use this art form as an agent for articulate experiences every young adult can relate to while making being born again, he said.
