Former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Chuckwuemeka Ezeifeon Wednesday said the South East states will shock the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019 general elections.Ezeife who was in Akure, the Ondo State capital for thepublic presentation of the biography of Governor OlusegunMimiko said none of the Southeast States has anything toshow the people of the region for the APCs governmentHe described those joining APCin the region as those who wanted to begovernor at all cost .While noting that the people of the zone would disappoint APC and thepoliticians who are trooping to the party, Ezeife said the people wouldstick with All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and thePeoples Democratic Party (PDP).His words :Southeastern people are not going toAPC. What is happening is that some people who want to begovernor by stealing the position about twelve of them aregoing to APC and they will discover that they will never winany election after going there. They cannot win the governorship. So dont worry aboutthat. We have been more consistent in the zone, so weare not going anywhere. We are consistent in APGA and PDP.Some people saw what happened in Edo and Ondo and theybelieved that the only way to be governor is to go throughAPC but we are assuring them that our people will not votefor them. While corroborating the position of GovernorRochas Okorocha that the Southeast states have nothing toshow from the government at the centre, Ezeife saidThere is nothing for us to show in thisgovernment. Are we the Secretary to the government of thefederation' Do we have any protocol position' Nothing.Okorocha is in APC but we know that we are not wanted. Some people who wanted to be governor are smugglingthemselves in to APC but we will not allow them. We aregoing for presidency. I like what Chief Olusegun Obasanjosaid. For that 2019, we are going for President.
