Japanese mothers are wrapping themselves up in cloth to alleviate pain after giving birth

"Otonomaki" is a Japanese therapy designedto help new mothersease stiffness in the shoulders and hips after giving birth.Each person is tied in a cloth from head to toe. They then lay on their backs and sway from side to side.The therapy has encountered some criticism by health care professionals whoare sceptical of the benefits."There may be cases where people with asthma may find it easier to breath (in that position), but once the cloth is off it's the same thing.
