Let's tell you about, Oluwaseun the Global Shaper representing Nigeria at the 2017 World Economic Forum in Switzerland

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters is the foremost creative force for engaging the world's top leaders in collaborative activities to shape the global, regional and industry agendas at the beginning of each year.For over four decades, the World Economic Forum's mission ' improving the state of the world ' has driven the design and development of the Annual Meeting programme.The 2017 Annual meeting is set to hold from the 15-21st January 2017 and will address the response of all actors to the challenges related to 14 System Initiatives, including on: Shaping the Future of Consumption; Shaping the Future of Economic Growth and Social Inclusion; Shaping the Future of Education, Gender and Work; Shaping the Future of Energy; Shaping the Future of Environment and Natural Resource Security; Shaping the Future of Financial and Monetary Systems; Shaping the Future of Food Security and Agriculture; Shaping the Future of Health and Healthcare; Shaping the Future of International Trade and Investment; Shaping the Future of Long-Term Investing, Infrastructure and Development; and Shaping the Future of Mobility. Oluwaseun Daniel, a Global Shaper with the Abuja Hub is the only Nigerian Global Shaper selected as part of the 2017 Davos 50. The Davos 50 are the Global Shapers selected to represent millennials at the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting in Davos this month. They are spearheading the #Worldweshape global media campaign to share the vision and the values youths stand for. The Global Shapers have a megaphone in the Davos platform, and will be utilizing it to speak for millennials throughout the forum as some will be in panel sessions to discuss issues around responsive and responsible leadership. As a Davos 50, Oluwaseun is responsible for the design and graphic content related to the #Worldweshape online campaign and would have his designs showcased at one of the major plenary sessions during the forum in Davos.The Global Shapers Community is a network of hubs developed and led by young people, primarily between the ages of 20 and 30 who are exceptional in their potential, their achievements and their drive to make a difference in their communities. The Global Shapers are curial to the Annual meeting because over 50 percent of the world's population is under the age of 27 and are severely under represented in global affairs. There are currently 7 active hubs in Nigeria which includes: Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Portharcourt, Ibadan, Calabar and Uyo.Oluwaseun Daniel, the Nigerian representative is a software developer at Nigerian Communications Satelite Ltd (Nigcomsat), the founder of AnielWorks and convener of the Agora Design Conference. He represented Nigeria at the International Computer Olympiad in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Where he won a gold medal. In 2015, he was selected for the World Economic Forum on Africa in South Africa and co-authored the Africa80 book with other Shapers. He was one of the 6 Global Shapers that represented Nigeria at the World Economic Forum in Rwanda in 2016 and selected to attend the DO-School Doathon in Germany. He volunteers for tech and education related NGOs and is the lead singer with The Isomers Music Band.
