Disney is considering using CGI to bring Princess Leia to life in the next 'Star Wars' movie

Digitally re-creating performances of actors who have passed away is a thorny issue, but it's one that Disney is apparently pushing forward with haste.After Carrie Fisher's tragic and unexpected death in December, talk has turned to how her role as Princess Leia - and now, General Organa - will feature in upcoming Star Wars movies.Leia is said to have a more significant role in the franchise's next instalment, Episode 8, and it was hoped an even bigger role in Episode 9.And although Carrie had finished shooting her scenes for Episode 8, production on its follow-up hasn't even started yet.
