Retired Kenyan football star, Joe Kadenge, has his dying wish fulfilled after he was visited by the Kenyan President .

Retired Kenyan football star and coach, Joe Kadenge, has had his dying wish fulfilled after President Uhuru Kenyatta paid him a visit.Kadenge, who has been battling with several ailments for years, had a few days ago requested to meet with President Uhuru Kenyatta before he dies.In a video that has now gone viral on social media, the former Maragoli United and Abaluhya FC star who also managed Kenyan national team in 2000, sent an emotionalmessage to Kenya's president and other ex Presidents requesting to meet them before he dies so that he can bid them farewell. 'It seems my body doesn't like me anymore', Kadenge said in the video, suggesting he might give up the ghost any day from now.In his words, he said:'There are people in the Government that I would like to meet. First and foremost, President Uhuru Kenyatta. I would like to meet you before I die. It seems my body doesn't like me anymore. I would also like to meet the retired Presidents too. You remember the old men. I would like to say goodbye to them so that if God calls me today, I will have an opportunity to say goodbye to them.' He addedWatch the emotional video below....Joe Okudo, the permanent Secretary from the Kenyan Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts, visited the football icon at his home as soon as the government heard his plea, and assured confirmed Kadenge he would surely have his moment with the President. .'It's true that the President will see Kadenge. He heard his wish to meet him and that's why I'm here, to see his state of affairs including his health so that we plan their meeting in two or three days time as Mzee had requested,' Okudo told the press.Retired Kenyan football star and coach, Joe Kadenge, has had his dying wish fulfilled after President Uhuru Kenyatta paid him a visit.Joe Kadenge can now rest in peace, as onSunday, January 8, 2017, after a meeting had been set up, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his wife, Margaret were accompanied by some government officials to pay Joe Kadenge a visit, at his South B Mariakani home.Joe Kadenge, who played for Maragoli United and Abaluhya FC also presented his former club jersey and a soccer ball to the President.
