Rivers Election: We Are Great PlannersGov Ganduje

Consequent upon the resounding victory the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) got at the recently concluded gubernatorial elections in Ondo state, the governor of Kano state, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje has expressed optimism that the up coming rerun elections for Rivers state will be a cake walk.The governor who hinged his assertion on the fact that his party, the APC, is that of great planners and strategists, added that the greater population of the country were appreciating what the APC-led administration at the center, under President Muhammdu Buhari, was doing.Governor Ganduje said this after the inauguration of a crack campaign team for the Rivers rerun by the APC national leadership which he heads, at the national secretariat over the weekend.Ganduje said Those who were involved in those elections were great planners and people are appreciating what is happening at the national level and what the state governors are doing.We won the elections in Edo and Ondo state. It showed that APC as a party is a well established party and having well committed members. We are great planners and we have the backing of the national headquarters of the party.While stating what led to the partys win in Ondo, the governor said: In Ondo state however, people are not appreciating what the state government was doing and people wanted a change and change has come.We shall strategies for Rivers election because we know if is a difficult terrain.On the viability of a one party system in e country, he said that A one party system is not good for this country. But if one party system will evolve in appreciation of what the central government is doing, let it be. But I know that it is difficult.
