You can have yourself a happy holiday season by picking the right players for your daily fantasy football team this weekend.Week 16 is full of players on the rise providing plenty of value, each of which could be better options than bigger names at higher prices. With that in mind, here is a look at the latest stock report heading into the weekend.Stock UpDavid Johnson, RB, Arizona Cardinals ($5,800)As the No. 1 offense in the NFL in yards and No. 2 in points, the Arizona Cardinals are great for all fantasy players. Carson Palmer has been great all season, while seemingly endless receivers and running backs have been able to produce big numbers. However, David Johnson has proven to be more than just a system running back. While the offense certainly helps, this run showcased his physical ability to make plays on his own:This was part of a huge performance against the Philadelphia Eagles where Johnson finished with 187 rushing yards and three touchdowns to go with 42 receiving yards. Although it's difficult to expect this type of effort every game, he does have at least 120 scrimmage yards in each of the last three weeks and is a major threat to score multiple touchdowns.Although the Green Bay Packers have been decent against the run, Johnson still represents a great pick based on his recent efforts as a starter.Kamar Aiken, WR, Baltimore Ravens ($5,400)A 48-yard touchdown on a Hail Mary at the end of the first half helped Kamar Aiken have a huge day against the Kansas City Chiefs, but he was already on his way to one of the best games of his career in Week 15.The receiver finished with eight catches for 128 yards, his first 100-yard effort of the year. This continues a relatively consistent stretch where he has at least five catches in seven straight games. The key is the fact he is the only real weapon in the Baltimore Ravens' passing attack, helping him average 9.7 targets per game in this stretch.Whether Joe Flacco or Matt Schaub or Jimmy Clausen or whoever is throwing the ball, Aiken has enough ability to be a go-to option and a safe play for your fantasy team.Against a Pittsburgh Steelers defense allowing the most fantasy points to opposing receivers on DraftKings this year, Aiken not only has a high floor, but also a high ceiling this week.Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Minnesota Vikings ($5,200)Like with David Johnson, you don't want to just count on a player replicating his recent performance. Teddy Bridgewater is coming off by far the best game of his season with four passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown in a Week 15 win over the Chicago Bears. The hope, however, is that he can build off his recent showing and dominate a pass defense that has struggled mightily this season. The New York Giants have allowed 308.4 passing yards per game this year, almost 30 yards more than anyone else in the NFL.Cam Newton, who is obviously having a great season in his own right, torched this group with five touchdown passes last week to go with over 300 passing yards and 100 rushing yards. The Giants know Bridgewater also presents a tough challenge, as Jason Pierre-Paul discussed this week:While the second-year player isn't quite at Newton's ability, he also has a chance for a big day for a minimal price.Stock DownA.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals ($7,100)The Denver Broncos defense certainly lost some of its intimidation factor with last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Antonio Brown torched Chris Harris and the rest of the secondary for 16 catches, 189 receiving yards and two touchdowns.Of course, this doesn't mean it will be easy for other teams to replicate this feat. Although A.J. Green is one of the best receivers in the league, he isn't the same type of route-runner who can get open at will against any defender. He will have a tougher time separating himself from the talented Broncos cornerbacks.More importantly, AJ McCarron is far from Ben Roethlisberger, and the inexperienced starting quarterback will struggle moving the ball down the field.McCarron and Green connected just once on three targets against the San Francisco 49ers last week. Even with more time to get into a rhythm, the difficult matchup makes this too much of a risky play.Lamar Miller, RB, Miami Dolphins ($6,400)There might not be a more frustrating fantasy football player in the NFL than Lamar Miller this season. He has the ability to carry your fantasy team to a win almost on his own or he can completely destroy it, depending on the week.As Alex Gelhar of NFL.com notes, Miller has been great when he gets the ball:The last sentence relates to the running back's struggles getting the ball. Miller finished with just nine carries for 12 rushing yards last week against a poor San Diego Chargers run defense and eventually lost out on snaps to rookie Jay Ajayi.Even when he plays well, like against the Giants in Week 14, the coaching staff doesn't continue getting him the ball. He had 89 rushing yards and two touchdowns on only 12 touches, letting fantasy owners dream about the day he could have had with more work. The reality is besides the upside, the risk is too great to put Miller in your lineup.Eli Manning, QB, New York Giants ($5,600)You would think a quarterback who just threw four touchdown passes against an elite Carolina Panthers defense would be a great play in Week 16. The problem is he will be without his top target in the suspended Odell Beckham Jr., whose appeal was denied this week:Beckham currently has twice as many yards and receiving touchdowns as anyone else on the Giants, meaning Manning will lose a lot of production with his No. 1 receiver not in action. While Rueben Randle and Dwayne Harris have had strong seasons, they have also benefited from the attention defenses usually give to Beckham. In order for Manning to have a good game Sunday, he will need to rely on a lot of individual plays from Randle and Harris against a Minnesota Vikings secondary that ranks seventh in the NFL against the pass. This is not ideal for a fantasy team.Even at a reasonable price, this is not a good pick this week.Note: All prices and fantasy score info courtesy ofDraftKings.
